His journey—from addiction, homelessness, and incarceration to recovery, family, leadership, and community service—has shaped his commitment to helping others find hope and opportunity.

After entering recovery and rebuilding his life, Joshua dedicated himself to serving others who were facing many of the same challenges he once experienced. Through mentorship, recovery support, youth outreach, public speaking, and community involvement, he has worked to help individuals and families navigate difficult circumstances and build brighter futures. His passion for service has made him a trusted voice and advocate for people from all walks of life.

Joshua has become a recognized community leader in Gresham, working alongside local organizations, businesses, faith communities, and residents to strengthen neighborhoods and foster connection. He believes that strong communities are built when people are willing to listen, engage, and work together to solve problems.

As a candidate for Gresham City Council, Joshua is focused on improving public safety, supporting local businesses, strengthening neighborhoods, and ensuring city government remains responsive and accountable to residents. He believes Gresham's best days are ahead and is committed to bringing people together to build a city where families can thrive, businesses can succeed, and every resident has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
